Born and raised in Bruges, Belgium, I've always been captivated by fashion. In late 2022, I embarked on a journey to establish my own brand, drawing inspiration from the tapestries found in the souvenir shops of my hometown. These tapestries weren't just decorative; they served as insulation for less affluent families, thriving in our region's tapestry manufacturers. My mission is to revive interest in tapestry, shedding light on this overlooked aspect of Bruges's history and its cultural heritage.

That's why my brand's name reflects our local dialect. It's pronounced as "LU·AS," which is how we say "Lukas" here. We drop the "K" and add a pause in the middle. It's a way of paying tribute to my hometown and its unique way of speaking.
